This breadbox is an ideal project to get started on because it is made with a variety of the most common shop tools and equipment, from the table saw to the router.

 

Perhaps best of all, there are no fussy joints to cut.  The basic box can be made with almost any simple construction method, from dowels to screws and plugs or even biscuits, if you own a biscuit joiner.
