Do you know any place that still sells 1/16-inch band saw blades? - Joe Murphy

Rob Johnstone:
I cannot find a source for 1/16" band saw blades. The companies I've talked to said that they can't find the coil steel to make them (but I am guessing that they might not want to make them … just a guess). Sorry.

Scroll Saw CuttingChris Marshall:
Joe, I'm having no better luck than Rob in sourcing 1/16" band saw blades for you. Olson Saw Blades, for one, sells them down to 1/8 in., and that's about as narrow as I can find. It seems you're now entering the realm of the scroll saw if you need narrower blades. Could that machine work for your application(s)? If so, I reviewed some affordable scroll saw options in our October print issue last year (page 54).
